LITERARY COMPETITION 2017

Un año más, en coordinación con el Dpto. de Lengua Española y Literatura de nuestro IES, se convoca el Certamen Literario de relato corto en inglés (VIII edición), Las bases de la convocatoria son las siguientes:

                        SHORT STORY CONTEST IN ENGLISH

1. The following three categories are invited :  

             - PRIMER CICLO

       - SEGUNDO CICLO      
       - BACHILLERATO Y CICLOS FORMATIVOS

2.     A prize will be rewarded to one person in each category.

3.     The jury will be made up of teachers from the English Department. They will make a final decision and may not reward any prize if the stories do not reach the required quality.

4.     Each prize-winner will receive 25 euros.

5.     The short stories must be unpublished and typed double-spaced in “Comic Sans MS” size 12.

           The maximum length is three pages, one sided.

6.     You will deliver the story to the English Department in a sealed envelope. On the envelope, write the level in which you are participating and a nickname. For example, The Blue Moon By An Excellent Writer-2º ESO.

7.   Include inside the envelope:

       A) Your story for the contest.

            B)  A CD with your story saved on it.

     C) A smaller envelope, sealed with your nickname, your real name, and your               category in which you are participating.

   8.    DEADLINE DATE: MAY 3rd.

    9. The winner will be announced:  MAY 18th and will have a public reading of the winning           stories at the Salón Actos and the awards will be given at the end of the course.
